| The family-friendly Verso is quite spacious, with lots of safety equipment. It's nice to drive and very well put together, with generous standard equipment. But it only seats seven at a pinch. |

| You're paying for quality and reliability here, rather than an innovative people carrier. As a five-seater, Verso makes a lot of sense. With only five seats, it's spacious enough and also has plenty of room for luggage. But put the third row of seats into use and it feels more cramped. Also the two separate seats rear seats don't fold away; they have to be removed, which compromises practicality. The middle row can be folded, slid forward or backwards, and if required removed completely creating a very capacious van-like interior. Verso's higher than average prices are justified on the grounds that it's so well equipped. Never mind the luxuries it's the vital safety features which make the difference. This is yet another reason why it makes a sensible choice for the family. There are 2.0 petrol and turbodiesel engines; the diesel's power gives a better drive and also offers the more frugal option. |
